Inspection Toolbar Fields

The following fields are found on the custom inspection toolbar.

  • Inspection: Click to return to the main inspection window.
  • Functions: Click to access more functionality within the inspection.
  • Attachments: Click to attach images, documents, or files related to the inspection. See Attachments for more information.
  • Audit Log: Click to view the inspection's audit log, which tracks all changes made to the inspection. See View the Audit Log for more information.
  • Security: Click to view and edit the inspection security settings. This is only available to administrators. See Security for more information.
  • Readings: Click to add or update asset readings. See Add an Asset Reading for more information.
  • Email: Click to email the inspection.
  • Print: Click to print the inspection.
  • Save: Click to save any changes made to the inspection.
  • Close: Click to close the inspection. All required fields must be complete before an inspection can be closed. You must have the required security rights to close an inspection.
  • Delete Inspection: Click to delete the inspection.
  • Geocode incident address: Click to geocode the inspection address. In the Geocode Results panel, select the desired address. Select Use the address of the selected candidate to update the address and X and Y coordinates with the selected address and its coordinates. If you do not select this check box, it still updates the X and Y coordinates but not the address.
  • View work history located near this Inspection: Click to show work history located near the inspection location. See View Work History Summary for more information.
  • Reopen work activity: Click to reopen the work activity. This option is only available on closed inspections if the user has the correct permissions.
  • Clone inspection: Click to clone an inspection if an asset is being inspected again with most of the information remaining the same. See Clone a Custom Inspection for more information.
