Event Layer Configuration Fields

The Event Layer Configuration panel lets you edit the look of the symbols added to the map for an event layer.

• Name: Enter the name of the event layer.
• Refresh (min.): Select the number of minutes between event layer refreshes.
• Description: Enter a description of the event layer.
• Enable: Select if the event layer is enabled on the map. Cityworks recommends disabling events layers instead of deleting them.
• Marker: Select the type of marker to use.
• Size: Select the size of the marker.
• Line: Select the type of line that goes around the marker.
• Width: Select the width of the line.
• Line Color: Select the color of the line.
• Fill Color: Select the color of the marker.

• Current: Shows you the current image for the layer.
• Clear: Click to clear the current selection.
• Offset X/Y: When you select an image, the point being defined is centered under it. If you want the point to be visible, for example, at the point of an arrow, use these fields to move the image in relationship to the point.
• Save: Click to save any changes made to the layer.
