Print/Export/Email

Service requests can be shared by printing, exporting, or emailing them. Service requests can be printed or emailed as either Microsoft Word (.docx) files or Crystal Report PDF files. This preference, Print Output Type, is configured in Designer under GeneralPreferencesPrint Output Type. If the Print Output Type is set to Crystal, a Crystal Reports print preview opens when you click Print. You can save this file or print it. Note that if you select multiple records to print, they are all included in one PDF file. When you click Email, the Crystal Reports PDF is included in the emails as an attachment. If the Print Output Type is set to .docx when you click Print, a print preview window opens. Click Print to print the document. If you select multiple records to print, they are all included in the print preview window and all print when you click Print. When you click Email, the record is included in the body of the email.
